Free SEO audit
A free SEO audit, read by a person
Not a generated PDF with a score on the front. If there is nothing worth auditing yet, we will tell you that instead.
The Nexclick reviews your site by hand and sends back what is actually holding it down — technical faults, content gaps, and what two competitors are doing that you are not. Three working days, no obligation, and no access to your analytics required.
What you get
Six things, and a prioritised list
The same review we run at the start of a paid engagement, minus the implementation.
- Technical health
- Crawlability, indexation, rendering and speed — checked against what is actually blocking pages rather than everything a tool can flag.
- What you rank for now
- The terms bringing traffic today, the ones you are close on, and whether any of them are commercially useful to you.
- Content gaps
- Pages that should exist and do not, judged against the queries your buyers use rather than against a keyword volume list.
- Two competitors, examined
- Whoever is above you for the terms that matter, and specifically what they are doing that you are not.
- A prioritised list
- Ordered by effect against effort, with the ones you can do yourself marked as such. Usually three to six things, not ninety.
- A straight answer on whether it is worth it
- Including when the answer is that your market is too small, your site converts too poorly, or you should spend on ads instead.

One person picks these up. There is no queue and no automated reply pretending to be one.
Be aware
When we will turn this down
Three cases where an audit would waste your time, and we would rather say so than fill a document.
The site launched in the last three months. There is no data to read and nothing has settled. Anything we sent would be guesswork with a letterhead on it. Wait for a quarter of Search Console history.
The site is about to be replaced. Auditing a site you are scrapping is work on a thing that will not exist. What matters in that case is the migration plan — the redirect map and the URL structure — and that is a different piece of work we would rather point you at.
There is no organic opportunity to find. Some businesses genuinely have no meaningful search demand, and for them SEO is the wrong channel however well it is executed. Our ROI calculator will usually surface this in two minutes, before you have spoken to anybody.
Turning one down costs us a lead and saves you a fortnight of believing a channel will work. That is the trade, and it is the same one every service page on this site makes.
Questions
About the free audit
Is this actually free, or is it free until you send an invoice?
Genuinely free, and there is nothing to decline afterwards. You get the findings whether or not you ever speak to us again, and there is no follow-up sequence — one person replies, and if you do not respond, that is the end of it. The commercial logic is that roughly one business in five comes back later, and that is enough.
How long does it take to come back?
Three working days, usually sooner. It is slower than the instant PDF you get elsewhere because somebody actually looks at the site. If you need it faster because of a deadline, say so in the form and we will tell you honestly whether we can.
What do I get — a document, a call, or both?
A written summary by email, and the offer of twenty minutes on a call if you want to talk it through. The call is optional and skipping it does not reduce what you receive. Nothing is withheld from the document to force a conversation.
Will you just tell me I need to hire you?
Not if that is not what the site needs. A fair number of these end with "your technical setup is fine, the problem is that nobody is asked to buy anything" — which is a conversion problem, not an SEO one, and we will say so. Several have ended with a recommendation to spend on ads instead.
Is there any point if my site is brand new?
Usually not, and this is the most common reason we turn one down. A site launched in the last three months has no data to read and no rankings to diagnose — an audit would be guesswork dressed up as analysis. Come back once there is a quarter of Search Console data. We will say this rather than send you something.
Do you need access to Analytics or Search Console?
No, and we do not ask for it. Everything in the audit comes from what is publicly visible plus third-party tools. If you want to share Search Console access the findings get sharper, but it is entirely optional and never a condition.
What happens to my details afterwards?
They are used to carry out and return the audit. You are not added to a mailing list unless you tick the box, there is no automated sequence, and you can ask for the record to be deleted at any point. The privacy policy sets out the full position.
Rather do it yourself first?
Reasonable, and these cover a good deal of it without involving anybody.
